2015 - Scoring the Black Mass Soundtrack (WaterTower Music)

Filmed the full orchestra recording the score for Black Mass at the Eastwood stage on the Warner Bros lot. It was an exciting and unique experience to be in the room when the orchestra is recording. I also shot interviews with Director Scott Cooper and Composer Tom Holkenborg and edited a behind-the-scenes featurette for Fandango.

2013 - Biting into the Ramen burger
I served as second unit director on this short film that won the food filmmaker of the year award at the Chicago food film festival 2013. And the Ramen burgers were amazing.

2012 - 'The Doors' Award Presentations (Eagle Rock Entertainment)

Edited various presentations and promos showcasing the legacy of The Doors for The Classic Rock Awards and the Sunset Strip Music Festival. I was fortunate enough to attend an award presentation at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd, where my edit preceded a live performance by Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek.

2011 - Joe Jonas - See No More lyric video (Hollywood Records)
Joe Jonas employed the penmanship of artist Curtis Kulig to help create a graffiti-inspired lyric video. We shot photos and video of the process and our edit won Best Lyric Video at the 2011 MTV Online awards.

2010 - Saving Abel in Iraq USO Tour (EMI)

Traveled with the band and shot photos and video, documenting the Saving Abel USO Tour of Kuwait and Iraq. Two years later, we were flown onto the U.S.S. Carl Vinson to shoot a live performance for the troops. I served as the Editor on both projects, producing a series of Yahoo webisodes and the 'Miss America' music video.

2009 - Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience (Disney Records)
On opening weekend, The Jonas Brothers chartered a jet to make surprise appearances at movie theaters nationwide. I was one of three shooters/editors who flew separately to multiple markets and shot, edited and delivered same-day video updates of each appearance for fans on the Verizon network. 

 

2007 - Mick Fleetwood Blues Band (Sanctuary)
My crew and I were flown to Hawaii to capture a multi-camera performance of Mick Fleetwood performing inside Diamondhead crater. We worked closely with Mick again later in St Louis, and produced a series of live performance videos. The music received a Grammy nomination.

 

2007 - Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London Music Video (New West Records)

The label released a compilation of rare tracks and I was hired to edit a Werewolves of London music video from old 8mm home movies shot by Warren Zevon and effects legend Rick Baker. The music video aired on the VH1 family of networks.

2007 - Rockstar: Supernova "Headspin" Music Video (Sony Music)
The hit TV series Rockstar: Supernova toured with winner Lukas Rossi, Tommy Lee, Gilby Clarke and others. I travelled with the band, and shot and edited the official music video for Headspin, which aired on the MTV family of networks.

2006 - Smashing Pumpkins Exclusive DVD "Inside the Zeitgeist" (Reprise Records)
Tasked with turning two phone calls from Billy Corgan and a briefcase of DV tapes into a 20 minute documentary on the Zeitgeist album. The doc was packaged with the album as a limited edition digipak for retailers.
